My Favorites in NYC (Adalyn)

I had so much fun in NYC! It is such a chaotic city so I personally, I would not want to live here because it is very chaotic, there are way too many people, and everyone smokes everywhere. It is a great place to visit.  I spent most of my week in Long Island with my grandparents (and one night with my Aunt) but I want to share my 3 favorite activities from my week here.

#3  Walking around Midtown Manhattan 
There are so many things to see in Manhattan! First off, I loved seeing Rockefeller Center where the show “30 Rock” was based on. It was very pretty and a good tourist attraction to visit. I also enjoyed walking around Korea Town and seeing all the delicious food and beauty stores they had there. We went to a delicious restaurant where I had a plate with Wagyu beef which was amazing. While Dad and Noah went to a comedy show, Mom and I ordered a boba milk tea in Korea Town and explored K-Beauty stores which was so much fun. 

#2 Mercer Labs:  
             
​Mom, Noah, and I went to an immersive art and technology museum in lower Manhattan. It was a cool experience but nothing compared to Team Labs in Japan (where we went last summer). My favorite exhibit was a room covered with roses from floor to ceiling. It was very relaxing and cool to interact with. The best part was that we came to Mercer Labs during a promotion where we received free mochi and a sparkling mint drink.

#1 “The Play That Goes Wrong”

My favorite activity was going to the play, “ The Play That Goes Wrong.” I really enjoyed this play because it was hilarious. The actors were on point with their comedy skills. The theatre was very clean and comfortable. It also felt nice and cozy because we were the perfect distance from the stage so we were able to see all the action perfectly. The only thing that could be improved upon was audience etiquette . Some people were talking during the performance which was very distracting but overall it was my favorite activity that we did in New York.
