Tons of availability for prime weeks at Hacienda Encantada Resort in Cabo Mexico.  Internal International is showing tons of weeks including Spring Break!  Here are just a few.  Weeks during almost every month during Summer 2017 is also showing!

Cancun is a tremendously popular vacation spot.  Cancun receives daily flights from numerous airports all over the US and the world.  Cancun has something for almost all types of vacationers. 

The Westin Lagunamar Ocean Resort is a luxury timeshare resort that gets rave reviews.  It is generally fairly difficult to find availability since it is a popular destination and has also a five star rating on tripadvisor.

The following is a list of available units that I was able to see through Interval International.  There is widespread availability through the end of the year and a few weeks in February.  This can make for a very favorable exchange. 

I was able to pull the following exchanges using a 2 bedroom unit.  My maintenance fees are approximately $1200 per year which provides me with at least three weeks in studio units during prime weeks.  I will discuss the various point systems and how this is possible in other posts. 

As an example, I reviewed the week of February 11th through priceline to determine the approximate cost for that week if I booked through priceline.  Being in the dead of winter, a nice beach vacation would be a nice break.  Based on priceline's prices, the week of February 11th would cost me over $2700.

In comparison, using my timeshare week and trading enough points for the one week would essentially cost me $400 ($1200 divided by 3) plus the interval exchange fee of $239 providing me with a total cost of approximately $639 for the week, thereby saving me over $2100.

Here is a fantastic deal to Cabo San Lucas.  $300 round trip from Washington, DC, Dulles Airport.  Cabo is a wonderful destination and finding airfare this low is quite an anomaly.  This deal appears good through December. 

As usual, use Google Flights to access times, dates and prices and use Priceline to book.  Priceline has a 24 hour cancellation policy so you can book airfare and assess availability for timeshares or other accommodations.

Timeshares abound in Cabo with some extremely nice resorts.

Here are a few of my favorites:

Sirena Del Mar by Welk Resorts.  This is a gorgeous resort and currently see a one bedroom resort for $477 for the Week in September.   Sep 18 2016 - Sep 25 2016  1 Bedroom.

Hacienda Enchanta Resort and Spa: I see wide open availability through getaways through December.  Prices start at about $899 a week but this is top notch timeshare.

Hyatt Los Cabos also shows availability but please be aware that this is an all inclusive property.  All inclusive fees can add up quite quickly so you will need to read the fine print.
